Head Coach - Erin VanceErin Vance grew up in Buffalo Grove and cheered at St. Mary's grade school and Stevenson High School ('02). Erin was an ICCA Scholarship winner and All-State selection. She was a member of the inaugural University of Illinois Illini All-Girl competitive cheerleading team in Champaign. In 2007, Erin began coaching IHSA cheerleading. She was the assistant varsity coach to the 2007 Coed State Champions, Elk Grove. Vance became the head coach at Streamwood High School in 2008 and took them to the IHSA Coed State Finals for the first time in school history. They repeated that trip to State in 2009. In 2010, Erin was named the head coach at Stevenson High School and took the large varsity team to State in 2011 and 2012. Erin has been the head coach at LHS since the summer of 2015. The 15-16 squad finished 6th at Sectionals, 0.6 points away from State Qualification. the 16-17 team also finished 6th at Sectionals with their best performance of the season.
Erin has been an IHSA official since 2007 and an IRCA official since 2009. Erin had the privilege to judge the inaugural IHSA Competitive Dance State Championship in 2013 and repeated this honor in 2014 & 2015. Varsity Assistant - Julianne LuickJulianne Luick grew up in Schaumburg and cheered at Jane Addams Junior High and Conant High School ('02). Julianne was also the feature twirler at Conant. Julianne continued twirling in college as the feature twirler for the Trojan Marching Band at the University of Southern California. During her senior year Julianne cheered with the USC Song Girls. In 2009, Julianne began coaching IHSA cheerleading. She was the freshman coach at her alumna mater Conant High School. Julianne was hired as a full time math teacher at Libertyville High School in 2012 and began coaching at the junior varsity level. In 2013, Julianne was named the assistant varsity coach at Libertyville High School and she has held that position ever since.

JV Coach - Frances SkurskiFrances Skurski grew up in Libertyville and started cheering in grade school. She soon began cheering competitively in ‘07 with All-Star team Libertyville Lightning attending her first National Championship. She cheered for Ultimate Athletics All Girl Junior level 5 team attending Cheerleading World Championship in ‘08. Frances was the boy’s gymnastics team manager all four years she attended Libertyville High School from ‘08 thru ‘11. She cheered for LHS Varsity Co-Ed team as a sophomore attending IHSA State and was named NCA All American cheerleader. Frances cheered for LHS her senior year when the team took Second at IHSA State in ‘11. Frances also cheered with ACE Athletics and went to numerous Championships around the country including NCA Dallas Nationals. As a college freshman, Frances cheered for the University of Illinois at Chicago. Frances went on to receive an associate’s degree in Fine Arts at the College of Lake County allowing her to transfer to Illinois State University. Her first year at ISU, Frances participated in the Gamma Phi Circus in the unicycle and backstage crew. She graduated from ISU’s School of Theatre and Dance and currently holds a position at Libertyville High School as an AV/Productions Technician. Frances is very excited to get back into the cheering world as LHS JV cheer coach!
